EISI at ASLP Seminar May 23, 2007

The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP) held its annual seminar-workshop last April 25 to 27 2007 at El Cielito Inn, Baguio City. ASLP is one of the oldest professional library associations in the country.
Participants were librarians, library administrators, archivist, record managers, record officers, teachers and students of Library and Information Science, and other information specialist. Aim of the said workshop were to: increase awareness on the benefits of a well- organized and well-managed records; learn the importance of retention schedules and identifying and protecting vital records; develop the skills and knowledge of the current procedures, technologies and applications in records and information resources; and apply the best practice applicable.
EISI was the only exhibitor on this three-day seminar-workshop on “Records and Information Resource Management”.
