Summer Workshop at Ateneo de Naga June 1, 2007

The second of our MARC21 Workshop ‘Reloaded’ series which includes two days of intensive training was held last May 10-11. Hosted by Ateneo de Naga University (AdeNU) the 10th edition of our the MARC21 workshop drew 27 participants from nearby institutions. Jesuit Priest Fr. Francisco A. Mallari gave the invocation. EISI Sales Engineer for South NCR and Luzon, Ms. Snooky Ignacio introduced Dr. Alfredo C. Fabay, Dean of Graduate School. Participants recieved a warm welcome address from Dr. Fabay. He noted that James O’Brien, S.J. Library- Student Internet Center was the perfect venue for this kind of workshop.

Once again we were pleased to have experienced cataloger and University Research Associate of College of Science Library-UP Diliman, Mr. Francisco T. Tamor with EISI Senior Software Specialist, Mr. Bhoy Tabinas who delivered a successful training. The University Librarian-AdeNU, Ms. Edna M. San Buenaventura who gave the closing remarks and librarian-AdeNU Ms. Mariane Sto. Domingo together with other AdeNU library staffs who worked hand in hand with Training Coordinator Ms. Naidz Abragan for the promotion and coordination of the training were also present during the workshop.
